Story Description I found writing A Dangerous Love a really exciting experience. The title says it all, as Gemma, the innocent heroine, finds herself entangled with the dark and perilous world of drug dealing. David, the man she falls in love with, has a hidden past which returns to drag him back into danger so great it threatens both his life and sanity. I always write as a story enfolds in my head; not with any prior plan or aim, and so really enjoy seeing where it might lead. This story in particular, really made me long to find out what would happen next. I hope you will find the same. The book is brilliantly narrated by professional Mary Philips of Riveting Narration A few notes from my favourite chapters… |
Chapter 1. The unusual way the hero and heroine meet, the realisation they come from very different backgrounds and the first, tiny hint that David might have something to hide.
Chapter 3. Gemma persuading a reluctant David into agreeing to a date.
Chapter 10. The mystery of David’s disappearance.
Chapter 12. The real danger begins, although first there is relief for Gemma when she finally receives a phone call from David. But as the chapter progresses with an amazing revelation, she discovers exactly how he has suffered and realises that both their lives are now at risk.
Chapter 19
Events come to a head, and to say any more would be giving away too much of the story, except to say that both Gemma and David find themselves looking death in the face.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Dangerous Love

Format: Kindle Edition
This novel is unusual and exciting, as it explores the dangerous world of drug taking. When Gemma falls for David Gray, she has no idea of the terrible fear that she will experience when he goes missing, and how her endeavours to help him will lead her into real trouble. I thought this was a great read, and look forward to other books by the same author.
